In 1999, having collected together a couple of computers, connecting them together seemed to be a good idea. My recently-bought PC already had a 10baseT/10base2 Ethernet card, so the next step was purchasing a CNet CN40BC 10base2/10baseT PCMCIA card for my Amiga, which arrived in April 1999. Asante MacConn 10base2 PDS card for our Macintosh LC II.
Here's what the local network currently looks like. I think I've got the protocols at the correct OSI reference layers.
